What RAKEFZ already covers in RAK

Before adding new emirates, RAKEFZ's existing business is a single online portal spanning five separate Ras Al Khaimah licensing authorities — each with its own rules, cost structure and use case. Handling all five through one intake means a founder doesn't need to know in advance which authority fits their activity.

• RAKEZ (free zone) — general trading and services licensing, RAKEFZ's highest-volume authority, with entry packages from AED 6,000.
• RAK ICC (offshore) — holding companies and wealth structures for principals who don't need a physical UAE presence.
• Innovation City (tech hub) — Web3, crypto and AI ventures, RAK's AI-focused free zone, formerly RAK Digital Assets Oasis.

The multi-emirate expansion

RAKEFZ says the same intake-and-agent model it built for Ras Al Khaimah is now being extended to Dubai, Ajman and Sharjah, with additional emirates in the pipeline. The stated approach is the same one that got RAK to 40,000+ formations: one portal, one intake form, routed to whichever jurisdiction and licence type actually fits the applicant's activity — rather than asking a founder to research each emirate's rules independently.

The expansion is built around licensed formation agents based in each covered jurisdiction, rather than a single RAK-based team handling filings remotely. RAKEFZ frames this as necessary because formation rules, document requirements and authority relationships differ enough between emirates that a local agent — not just a local licence — is what actually shortens the process.
