How RAK's hotel pipeline is shaping up

Ras Al Khaimah is adding rooms faster than any other northern-emirate destination. The headline is Wynn Al Marjan Island, a 1,500-plus room integrated resort scheduled to open in 2027 and the emirate's first gaming-licensed property. Ahead of that, Mina Al Arab is already anchored by InterContinental and Anantara, while the 2026 opening of the Rotana RAK Mangroves Waterfront Retreat adds a nature-led product close to the city.

RAKTDA has set a target of 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030, which implies a doubling of the current hotel stock and a clear need for more mid-market and lifestyle product alongside the headline resorts.
