Chery UAE, part of AWR Automotive, has opened a new showroom on Al Bahar Street in Dahan, Ras Al Khaimah, inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Mohamed Ali Abdulla Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, alongside local government officials and Chery executives. The showroom marks the brand's continued expansion across the seven emirates and will host the regional unveiling of HIMAVA, Chery's first pick-up model, priced from AED 59,900 for the 4WD variant.
The opening adds a consumer-facing data point to a year in which Ras Al Khaimah's growth story has mostly been told through free-zone and industrial announcements. A global automotive group choosing to invest in dedicated retail infrastructure — rather than serve the emirate from a Dubai or Sharjah showroom — signals rising confidence in local household spending power, itself a downstream effect of the population and tourism growth RAKEZ, RAKTDA and RAK Properties have been driving. Integrated aftersales support alongside the showroom points to a longer-term commitment rather than a one-off retail play.
