Logistics and warehouse solutions provider Indu has broken ground on a new 5,839 square metre facility in RAKEZ's Al Hamra Industrial Zone, with roughly 12,000 cubic metres of projected storage capacity and completion targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.
Indu operates across FMCG, hotel supplies and food-supply-chain logistics in the Northern Emirates, and the new site is built to support growing demand from the F&B and hospitality sectors as RAK's tourism and hospitality pipeline expands. RAKEZ has not disclosed a specific investment figure for the project.
“This strategic investment reflects the notable rise in activity across Ras Al Khaimah and growing demand for advanced logistics solutions,” said Indu managing director Kush Kishore Lakhani. RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad added that the project “reinforces Ras Al Khaimah's position as a growing logistics and distribution hub serving key sectors.”
