RAKEZ has crossed 40,000 active companies, with around 19,000 new businesses joining in 2025 alone — a 44% increase over 2024. Indian investors accounted for 33% of new registrations, followed by Pakistan (8%), the UK (7%), and significant contributions from Egypt and France.
Service-related licences made up 40% of new registrations, with commercial and general trading at 33% and e-commerce at 17%. The leading business activities were general trading, online products and services, project management consultancy, IT, marketing services and building maintenance.
“This growth was largely driven by service-related licences, which accounted for 40 percent of total new companies registered in 2025,” said RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad, adding that the performance “confirms that the investment momentum witnessed by RAKEZ in recent years has not been temporary, but has become a sustainable trend.”
