What happened

Innovation City has formally named gaming and iGaming as one of its five founding growth sectors, alongside Web3/digital assets, artificial intelligence, robotics and healthtech. The zone is actively courting studios and operators who might otherwise default to more established gaming hubs elsewhere in the region.

Why it matters

The gaming and iGaming push is still early-stage relative to the zone's AI and Web3 positioning, but it's a deliberate bet on a sector InsideRAK tracks closely on our Invest scorecard — one of six categories we treat as the most-researched right now across family offices, startups, AI, gaming, brands and government policy.
